The age of Aquarius in 2018 – In this piece we worked with young talents to recreate the feeling of love and freedom form the 68ies in a the context of today’s culture, society and politics. Reduction meets the roaring twenties – To bring the feeling of the jazz era alive, I played with vibrant colored accessories in an otherwise black setting. Feathers served as a lure and a symbol for the attraction between the main characters. (Foto: Ingo Höhn)

Vanitas and Delft – In collaboration with costume designer Anika Marquardt, I designed digital prints for the main characters in Verdi’s “Rigoletto”. For the suit of the infamous Duke di Mantua, the print is made out of flowers transitioning from fresh ones on top to dead on the bottom. Linen and Friends – For Creation Baumann’s home textile collection I was given the opportunity to create a cushion cover with an embroidered wool application on their new line of linen base textiles. The pattern was inspired by cutting out geometric shapes from paper. (Foto: Création Baumann)

Textile storytelling – For my BA thesis my research centered on the question: Can you transfer the character of a mythological creature into textiles? I chose to focus on the water spirit Undine, who is said to be cheerful as a spring, melancholic as a lake and unpredictable as the sea. This led me to design a collection of woven and embroidered textiles for interior use.
